Tech Sports

Tech Sports

When a goal is scored in soccer and it barely touches the goal line before the goalkeeper knocks it out, there is always a camera to see the line and makes the decision of whether or not the goal is scored. The device that makes this work are some of the best cameras that have been made in the tech industry. How did you think you get all the slow-mo replays and all the other stuff on the TV? Anyway there are also apps that track your exercise and how fast you work and when you improve and your goals. Some of those apps include the Nike Sports Tracker, also another very easy to use app called Sports Tap which has stats on almost every kind of sports and recaps and lots of other detailed info on everything you can think of about sports.  Both apps are free and both are worth it whether you’re just going to try for a 6:30 mile or you are just an NBA All-Star whose is tracking their average. There is also an app that comes with the iPod Touch called Nike+iPod that does most of the basic mile tracking and other stat tracking.

Animal Tech

Animal Tech
Seen the new cheetah skin case?Or the owl made of wires and cables? This is the gizmos and the creatures combined to make some strange electronic devices. Animals are used in video games and also to create some stuff such as phone cases, robots and even some special effects in movies. Here are a few examples of robots that are made to look like animals combined with tech to create a thing that can be programmed to run to the store for you or sweep your room. Some of them are made out of stuff such as gears from a clock or combs.

Phone cases can be made out of anything as crazy as a cheetah or a penguin. They have elements such as movable ears, flippers or eyeballs. They do make things from a dog to a snake and they always come in different colors and all of them are usually sturdy.

Animals are used in video games as well. In the ever-growing game MarioKart Donkey Kong is a Gorilla. In realistic games such as Minecraft there are sheep, pigs, cows, and chickens. The animations can be very hard to program as well.

Mountain Lion

Mountain Lion-New OS X-Brings amazing features to the Mac.

Mountain Lion brought a new amazing integration with IOS to the Mac.
They brought in all of the same apps, just in a different way.The thing I’m confused about is why they didn’t add the Multi-Touch Gestures to the IOS devices with IOS 6. But I predict that they will add that in IOS 7 and then I will be extremely pleased.

The new features included updates to apps in Lion plus 4 major new apps which are Messages, Notes, Reminders and Game Center. The only one of those that I thought was unnecessary is messages because it is possible to do that on your phone. Students would find it impossible to text in class, also with a phone, it can fit into your pocket. Mac? Good luck trying with an 11-inch MacBook Air. Notes is useful, but Apple already has Stickies so it is a copy of that but made into an app. Reminders, integrated with Notification Center is a great addition to the Mac. Game Center actually made it possible to play head-to-head without downloading something like Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/), also it tracks points and achievements.Notification Center helps alot when you have a busy schedule so it is a great addition. FaceBook and Twitter integration prevents people from getting to the site itself, causing people to be lazy. PowerNap is amazing because you always have to refresh after sleeping. I wish this was added to IOS! Gatekeeper probably isn’t totally going to stop hacked Mac’s but it will help stop hacking.
Also the price is a lot better than Lion's(19.99 vs 29.99)

Hacking

Some people think that when you can’t beat this last level, you’ve got to get this rare item in the gamer or you can’t stand not to cheat you should just “Hack”. Now hacking refers to when you go into the file and rewrite the data. Although some devices are more secure than others it is usually possible to hack on almost every device.

Apple’s devices are easy to hack for games, but they are still more secure than windows. Apple does concentrate on making everything as secure as possible for their customers so they will but still all your data from an app is located under Application Support. This is where all your data is and that’s where you change your level in Call of Duty or the price of an espresso in SimCity. To hack an iDevice you need Cydia and it offers you a line of “third party apps” that offer things like unlimited in-app purchases or a flip for your apps when you scroll between them.

Windows is a lot harder to hack but it is probably possible to hack with the same files but you have to get there in a different way. Xbox 360 remains impossible to hack as far as I know. Had it been possible to hack it would definitely be the most hacked platform but the structure required profound thinking in the design so it would be deemed unhackable.

Gaming

Gaming-Examples of Popular Games.

These are different games that are popular and have been around for a little while (I have played all these games.)
Minecraft- Minecraft is a very popular game where you have to survive and build anything you want out of other things you find in the world such as wood. You're supposed to make a shelter and you have to mine for precious things such as gold, iron and diamonds. At nighttime the monsters will come out such as the famous creeper, which will explode if provoked. It is made by Mojang. It costs 26.95 to get a premium account(for life.).

UberStrike- A fast FPS game with amazing graphics and tons of items and weapons to use against your foes. After kills you recieve XP which allows leveling up and unlocking new equipment and armor. Because it takes so long to level up, you easily get addicted and even though it is free, a lot of people spend money on in-app purchases.

IOS 6

IOS- What should be included in it and what is in it.

IOS – iDevice Operating System – runs your iPhone, iPad or other iDevices and makes you lazier than you should be because it does everything but make your latte in the morning. The new passbook app practically turns your iPhone into a wallet because you just have to take out your phone and you can pay for your coffee, movie ticket, or whatever.

In my opinion, Facebook and Twitter integration replaced people having a conversation by talking on the phone. It has changed our spelling and the way we communicate. Instead of actually talking people will just post or text and then wait for someone to reply. The two useful additions to IOS were the new maps additions, and also the option to remind people later if you’re in a meeting or extremely busy you can set it to remind you to call back later which is really useful. Mountain Lion adds almost everything on iPhone onto the Mac and adds a cool feature called Power Nap which makes your computer still get all your data while it is sleeping or shut down. In IOS 7 Apple should add live streaming from a phone to an Apple TV. This would be useful for when you're projecting and you don't have a computer handy. The IOS 6 is available for iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S, iPad 2nd and 3rd generation and 4th generation iPod touch.

The MacBook Pro

The MacBook Pro— what it was and what it is now.

Picture the 2008 15-inch MacBook Pro with all the tech specs that the new iPad has and all the apps plus the functions like Notifications and the multi-touch gestures that a fairly large portion of the world has been buying. Pretty much, that’s Apple’s MacBook Pro with the Retina display. But the other option is to buy the iPad 3 for $1,700 less  and you still get the same kind of stuff as the new MacBook Pro and also is a lot smaller then the newer MacBook Pro. But if you are opposed to the new touch sensors and like the sound of the  clickety-clack of your keyboard either buy an old MacBook Pro or get a keyboard case for your iPad.

The main reason the new MacBook Pro is good for teenagers is gaming, when you play one of the games that are only for the Mac Platform. Although the Mac system is a whole lot easier to cheat which means that people have to get banned from games. Also, with Apple’s new OS X Mountain Lion operating system you can practically sync everything together and it also has Game Center which is a huge gaming network around the world that lets people compete on multiple platforms. The iPad also has a 4G Wi-Fi connection, which is something that apple’s new MacBook Pro does not have, although it is a whole lot bigger than the iPad and it has more processors.
